"The Torresian basis, the radiance of a Santos, plus the deep warmth of the Garcias and Simplicios. And - not to forget - a touch of Weissgerber's no-frills clarity.
All this, paired with easy playability, is the ideal basis for a fruitful partnership between performer and instrument.
These guitars are born out of an urge to build "musical instruments for musicians" - and it succeeds!"
Siegfried "Hogi" Hogenmuller

about me
I started playing classical guitar at the age of 12. When I was 15 I was drawn to the electric guitar. It was only later in my forties that I decided to make the classical guitar a part of my life. I studied playing intensively for years and was taught by a professional guitarist. It didn't take long for me to start building guitars myself. Since then I have been working intensively on the design, construction and function of these instruments. I don't think there is a perfect guitar that can do everything! Nevertheless, I am looking for the "super guitar", the Holy Grail of guitar sound, so to speak. This is a contradiction an idealist has to endure. I hope to be able to build for a long time and one day to drop dead in my workshop as a very old man!
