"The Torresian basis, the radiance of a Santos, plus the deep warmth of the Garcias and Simplicios. And - not to forget - a touch of Weissgerber's no-frills clarity.
All this, paired with easy playability, is the ideal basis for a fruitful partnership between performer and instrument.
These guitars are born out of an urge to build "musical instruments for musicians" - and it succeeds!"

Whenever I have the opportunity to play such an instrument, the guitars of the old masters surprise and fascinate me. Builders such as Enrique Garcia, Domingo Esteso, Antonio Emilio Pasqual and Richard Jacob "Weißgerber" knew what they were doing, the latter also being characterized by great diversity and a love of experimentation. He went his own way and gave guitar making a "German" signature. His guitars are always beautiful in sound and cannot be beaten in their purity.
I like to follow this ethos, as these instruments are always new sources of inspiration. In me they create a deep need to accomplish something just as grand. Technically, I follow these examples and adopt their method of construction. In my opinion, the modern concert guitar since Torres has matured to a great extent. Subsequent developments such as lattice or double top guitars have not been able to convince me, yet. My loyalty to traditions also applies to the maintenance of old techniques such as shellac polishing by hand, as well as using bone and skin glue for joining almost exclusively.

Every instrument is unique!
